The Producer: Shiflett REIGNS!
Among the nation’s top one-percent producers, Josh Shiflett, unsurprisingly, is at the very top of top producers for RE/MAX Whatcom County. While it might be easy to respond to his number-one designation with a reflexive, Shiflett, responds with the brilliance of a career arcing 20-plus years. From a solo start of cold-calling and hustle came a referral base that now requires service from a team. From writing thousands of contracts and addenda amidst huge market shifts, a certified—and respected—negotiation expert emerged. And from RE/MAX global Chairman Club and Lifetime Achievement awards, Josh is giving back as he mentors brokers as well as tradespeople new to the industry. Josh and his team are recognized beyond Whatcom County, too. The Shiflett Group—featuring brokers Kelli Walterskirchen and Lucy Brimer, along with transaction coordinator Mary Scoggins—has consistently ranked among the top 10 RE/MAX teams in the Pacific Northwest region (WA, OR, ID and MT). So, this year’s top-of-the-top award isn’t only recognition for a year of stunning sales results, but also a marker of continued success. With honed performance and sustained distinction, Josh’s approach to his professional calling is practiced and athletic. “He opens up client relationships and closes deals,” says RE/MAX Whatcom County founder and CEO Lori Reece. “He problem-solves and presents excellence. Josh is the consummate broker, approach to execution.” Congratulations to Josh Shiflett for your continued reign!
First Time RE/MAX Hall of Famer Hits Milestone Early on in His Career
A talented Rugby player, new father, second generation Realtor and now a RE/MAX Hall of Famer. Spencer Flannery exudes confidence and rightfully so. Working tirelessly to take over the family business, which began with his father Mike Flannery, back in 2006. Spencer has spent the last six years soaking up all the knowledge and experience he could, leading him to find immense success helping his clients purchase residential, vacant land, and commercial properties. The RE/MAX Hall of Fame award is given only to realtors who have earned a minimum of one million dollars in commissions. As you can imagine, that is no small feat in only six years. To earn such a title the groundwork must be laid… hours in the office, numerous calls being made, and no fear in hitting the pavement running, this is the Spencer we know and admire. From Mike Flannery, “I am so proud of the attributes that made this milestone achievement possible for Spence. His determination to do things the right way and his commitment to his customer’s satisfaction guarantees his success. Not to mention he’s not afraid of a little hard work. What’s exciting is that he’s just getting started. Congratulations Spencer.” Mike said it best and we know his clients agree. Spencer has hit the first of many awards he will have in his career, and we are honored to be able to support and follow him through this chapter and every future one. Congratulations Spencer!
