I was born and raised in Seattle, Wa. and moved to Bellingham in 1974. I attended
Western Washington University. For the past 50 years I have lived, loved , learned, explored
and worked in this corner of the Pacific NW.
I was raised in an enterprising family. I can trace my entrepreneurial tendencies back thru
many generations of my family. I learned to be responsible for the choices, actions and efforts
of my life. I have started, owned and sold several small successful businesses. I have
managed others and owned/operated Cascade Health Center along with my husband, Woody
Bernard, D.C. for the past 42 years. I am still licensed today as a massage therapist and have
been since 1981.
I continually strive for excellence, honesty, integrity and fun in all my relationships. My
relationship with you will be as a trusted broker, hard worker, attentive to detail, honesty in all
my dealings and a joy to work with.
My happiness consists in spending time with family, time with my beloved pets, fishing the
local rivers with my brothers, riding horses, gardening, having cookouts on the land, spending
time with friends and volunteering at my Church.
When it was time to make a career change, I decided that helping people realize their vision
and comfort of acquiring a home was a worthy endeavor. I have many beloved friends in the
real estate industry whom I greatly admire and they were inspirational for me to seek this
profession. In my own 50 years in Whatcom county, I have personally bought and sold many
homes and properties. I experienced and quickly realized what a good broker can accomplish
for their client. I hope to be that for others now. My life experience being of service and help
to others, my commitment to always learning and valuing my integrity and honesty, make me
an excellent real estate broker.
